Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Changecut at changecut.site, including the editor at changecut.site/app (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Egor Kramskoy, a self-employed individual (professional income tax payer) in the Russian Federation, INN: 771695415537 ("we", "us"). Contact: garikplaybro@gmail.com. By using the Service or buying credits you accept these Terms, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Changecut makes short motion-graphics videos from text you write. An AI model helps to write the script and design the look. The video itself is rendered in your browser, on your device, and you download the file from there. You need a modern desktop browser and a stable connection. We may improve, change or pause parts of the Service.

2. Accounts

You can try Changecut without an account. To keep credits, projects across devices or to buy anything, you sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email. You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a contract. Keep your email account secure: anyone who can open the sign-in link can use your Changecut account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account: creating several accounts to collect free credits is not allowed.

3. Free plan

A signed-in user without a paid plan gets 10 free credits every week. Unused free credits accumulate up to 20, anything above that expires. Free videos have a watermark, are exported at up to 720p and are up to 15 seconds long. The number of free look attempts per week is limited. There is one Free stream per device: the first account that signs in on a device gets the Free credits, other accounts on the same device do not. While a paid subscription is active, new free credits are not added. Our total daily budget for free use is limited, so at busy times the free queue may be closed until the next day.

If we find that Free is being abused (multiple accounts, disposable emails, automated sign-ups, bypassing the device check), we may take the bonus credits away, block the Free plan for that user or device, or close the account. Credits you paid for are not taken away for this reason.

4. Credits, plans and payment

One credit equals one second of finished video. You see the price in credits before every render. Credits are charged when a video passes our quality check and is delivered, and are held in reserve while it renders.

• A credit pack is a one-time purchase. Pack credits do not expire.
• A subscription renews every month at the price shown at purchase. The plan's credits are added to your balance at purchase and at each monthly renewal. Credits that are already in your balance stay there after you cancel.
• Free credits are spent first, then plan and pack credits.

Prices are shown in US dollars and include no extra fees from us. Payments are handled by our payment providers: lava.top (bank cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, SEPA and other methods it offers) and NOWPayments (cryptocurrency, credit packs only). Your bank or the provider may charge conversion or network fees. We do not receive your card number. Subscriptions are not available with crypto.

5. Cancellation and renewal reminders

You can cancel a subscription at any time in one click: open Credits and plans in the editor and press Cancel plan. No emails, no call. Cancellation stops future charges. The month you already paid for stays active and your credits stay. We email you 3 days before each renewal charge. If a renewal payment fails, the subscription may end and no credits are added.

6. Your content

You own what you put in. You are responsible for your text, screenshots, logos, voice recordings and any other material, and for having the rights to use them. We do not claim ownership of your videos or your materials. You give us only the limited permission needed to run the Service: to process your text with our AI provider and to store your project text in your account.

Acceptable use. You must not use the Service to make or distribute content that:

• is illegal, or violates someone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• is sexual or adult (18+), or involves minors in any sexual way (the account is blocked at once);
• is hateful or discriminatory, or harasses, threatens, defames or exposes a real person;
• promotes or calls for violence, terrorism or extremism;
• advertises or sells illegal drugs or weapons;
• is fraud, phishing, a scam or a financial pyramid, or contains malware;
• promotes self-harm or suicide;
• impersonates a real person or company, or is a fake ad or fake statement in their name (including deepfake ads);
• is political agitation or propaganda, or deceptive political or medical content that could cause real harm;
• is spam or mass unsolicited advertising;
• is otherwise forbidden by law that applies to you or to us.

Your text, voice recording and project title are checked automatically by an AI model and a word filter before a video is made. A request that breaks these rules is declined and costs you no credits. Repeated violations (3 in 7 days) or one serious violation suspend your account and device from the AI features. We may suspend or close the account, remove stored content and refuse a refund for credits and subscription time in such a case, because the violation is on your side. You are fully responsible for the content you create and publish with the Service, and you promise to hold us harmless against claims caused by it, to the extent the law allows.

If we suspend you by mistake, write to garikplaybro@gmail.com and we will review it. We keep the text of a blocked request for 90 days as evidence and for appeals, then delete it. We may give it to authorities when the law requires.

Report abuse. If you see content made with the Service that breaks these rules, use "Report abuse" in the footer of the editor or write to garikplaybro@gmail.com with a link or a description. We look at reports as soon as we can, usually within 2 business days, remove or block what breaks the rules and tell you the outcome when you ask.

7. AI output

Videos are made with the help of AI and may contain mistakes or look different from what you expected. We keep your on-screen text exactly as you wrote it, and we run an automatic check before delivery, but you must review every video before you publish it. Do not rely on AI output for legal, medical, financial or safety decisions. Similar videos may be produced for other users. Results are provided "as is".

8. Music

For now the Service does not include music. If you add your own music or sound, you may do so only if you hold the rights to it. You are responsible for any claim connected with it.

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service running but do not promise uninterrupted access. Features, limits and prices may change. A price change does not affect a subscription period you have already paid for.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, lost data or reputational harm. Our total liability for any claim connected with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the event that caused the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law that protects you as a consumer.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you on the site or by email. If you keep using the Service after the change, you accept the new version. You can stop using the Service and cancel your plan at any time.

12. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country. Please write to us first at garikplaybro@gmail.com: most issues are solved without a dispute. If that does not work, disputes are handled by the competent court at the seller's place of residence in the Russian Federation, unless the law gives you the right to go to a court in your country.
